Tuesday, May 5 • 2:15pm - 4:15pm
Workshop C: Collaboration, Intranets and Teamwork: The New Digital Workplace Built on Office365 - led by MICROSOFT

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

At one point it was imagined that users would log in to an intranet portal and complete all their tasks in the portal web pages. Using web parts and portlets, all the corporate apps would connect and integrate. We now know that to be a dream (or nightmare). Instead, we need users to create these web pages themselves and to integrate corporate apps themselves, without waiting for IT.

In this workshop, Microsoft will share its communications framework - known as the 'inner loop/outer loop'. You'll have the opportunity to see what tools are replacing the corporate intranet for high-performance teamwork, and how to publish content to outer loop apps. In this new framework imagine that your employees will get work done using video and chat (!) and are then able to publish content to the corporate intranet, public website, and even Twitter with the touch of a button.

O365 services demonstrated and discussed will include:

  • SharePoint Online
  • Teams
  • Stream
  • Power Automate
  • Yammer
  • Twitter
